The term "hotfix" refers to elements with a heat activated glue that can be ironed on or applied with a heat press. The finished design is applied as a "heat transfer" and may be referred to as a "rhinestone heat transfer" "hotfix transfer", "crystal transfer" or "motif".

Using a heat press to apply designs to your garment is best! You will get even heat and pressure throughout the design. When using an iron, it is more difficult to get the even heat and even pressure that will ensure your design stays adhered to your garment. It's not impossible, just more difficult and more time consuming.

Our primary business is the manufacturing of the designs. Yes, you may purchase just the transfer to be applied at your location. We do offer apparel packages for those clients who wish to purchase a finished product ready to wear or ready for market.

A transfer is a finished "design". A template a "stencil or template" that you use to make your own "transfers" with. You will need loose stones, transfer paper and a template brush along with your template to MAKE your transfer.

At Dazzling Designs & Apparel Inc. we take pride in the designing of our your custom desgisns. We have an art department dedicated to serving your custom artwork needs. The artwork fee provides you with the the inital drawing and necessary revisions to provide you with exactly the custom transfer you want.

If a "Production Order" is placed we will CREDIT you back your artwork set-up fee on your 1st production order of that design for which the artwork fee was paid. A "Production Order" is an order of 25 or more pieces of the same design in the same color ordered at one time.

It is surprising how long it can take to "draw" or "design" a custom rhinestone heat transfer. Many times revisions are needed to fine tune and perfect your custom transfer before going to production. This is not a SERVICE we are able to offer for FREE. We WILL however, CREDIT back the artwork set-up fee to your 1st "Production Order".
